Coordination drawings

Yet even with superb leadership, conflicts and obstructions can still occur among the various on-site MEP contractors. Composite coordination drawings shall be separate and unique from shop “field” drawings required by various Sections of the Specifications. In traditional construction projects each of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines detail out their shop drawings , then the drawings are passed between the trades, with the HVAC contractor trying to coordinate things (if only because the HVAC installation takes up the most space in the ceiling).
